Special Notice to Sentinel—Radio Edition Cassette Subscribers

Dear Sentinel—Radio Edition Subscriber,

As technology evolves and new audio formats become available, older formats such as cassette tapes have declined in sales. Sentinel—Radio Edition cassette subscriptions have been affected by this trend. As a result of reduced subscription levels and an increased cost of producing smaller quantities, it has become impractical for The Christian Science Publishing Society to continue to produce and deliver this product.

Therefore, in November of 2008 the cassette format of the Sentinel—Radio Edition will no longer be offered, making the Sentinel—Radio Edition CD format the only product available to subscribers.

The last issue of the Sentinel—Radio Edition on cassette will be the October 2008 issue. To make the transition to the CD product as easy as possible for you, the remaining issues of your cassette subscription will be automatically transferred to the CD format. If you would prefer not to receive the CD format of the Sentinel—Radio Edition, please call (617) 450-7920 by August 29th to receive any remaining refund on your subscription.

Subscribers have found the CD format to be preferable in many ways. CDs have better sound quality, are easier to store, do not require rewinding, and last longer than cassettes.

Regardless of the format, the Sentinel—Radio Edition program will continue to provide comforting interviews and testimonies of healing to inspire and support the listeners' spiritual growth.
